Megan is a designer and design educator with a wealth of practical and pedagogical experience.
As program lead and Associate Professor of Art (Graphic Design) at the University of Mobile, Megan grew the Graphic Design track from minor to full concentration in one year. During her fourth year she developed a full BFA degree in Graphic Design that was approved and launched in Fall 2018. In addition to her role as educator, Megan continues to practice professional design. She has more than ten years experience as a professional designer. During her career she has served in senior-level corporate design positions, as a creative and marketing consultant for nationally recognized brands and currently consults and produces work for large and small clients around the world in her self-branded studio. Megan has been the recipient of many awards, most recently winning two American Graphic Design Awards from Graphic Design USA in December 2018.

She has helped design and publish more than 40 books. Last year she was selected to serve on the national grant-funded AIGA EMERGE 2.0 taskforce as co-leader of the design team which was charged with designing and developing emerge.aiga.org, a website that is a resource for AIGA’s membership of 26,000 design professionals.
